Shift subtitle timing
Move every line of an SRT, VTT or ASS file at once, then save the corrected file.
Your file stays on your computer: it is read and changed in this browser tab and never uploaded.

Which fix do I need?
The same delay from start to end. The words always come, say, two seconds late. Move every line by -2 and save.
A delay that grows through the film. Fine at the start, several seconds off by the end. Match the first and last line to when they are really spoken, and every line in between is stretched to fit.
About four percent off, all the way through. A file timed on a 25 fps copy drifts that much on a 23.976 fps video. Convert the frame rate and the drift is gone.
Styles, positions and effects in an ASS file are kept; only the times change. For a file that fits your release without any fixing, look for the same release name on the title page, or drop the video on the match page.
