One place for subtitles in every language, free, open source, run by the people who use it.
SubtitleCenter holds subtitles for films, series, anime and documentaries in more than a hundred languages. Anyone can search and download in one click, without an account, without a countdown, without a captcha. Anyone can upload; the site reads the file, finds the film or episode, the language and the release, and publishes it with the maker's credit.
The archive opens with the work of the subtitle communities that came before it, each file still credited to its original uploader, each uploader able to claim their identity and continue here.
The code is public under the AGPL-3.0 at GitHub. Tools can use the API. Ads on some pages pay for the servers; nothing else is sold.
By the numbers
A file counts once, whatever the language or format; a pack that covers a season counts as one file. Machine translated files are kept apart from human work and never inflate these numbers. Counts refresh every hour and the same numbers are published in llms.txt for tools and answer engines.
Film and series data comes from TMDB. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
