Land Of Bad Movie Review With Explanation Of The Plot
The movie takes us a 48 thrilling hours of action and war where we see Captain Eddie Grimm a US Air Force Drone Pilot and Staff Sergeant Nia Branson giving air support from a Reaper to a US Army Delta Force team. Their mission consists of rescuing a CIA Spy captured by Islamic terrorists.
But during the operation, an ambush by the Jihadist Abu Sayyaf ruins it all. The only survivor in the group appears to be Sergeant JJ Kinney who is a young Air Force TACP officer. He was attached to the Drone team as it’s JTAC and is the only one still alive.
So the only survivor Kinney gets directed by Reaper’s remote Air Support to another extraction point. But Kinney falls down a mountain losing his rifle and finally, his pistol runs out of ammunition. As Kinney gets captured again he finds one of his squad mates Master Sergeant John Sweet AKA Sugar. It turns out he was alive and had come to rescue Kinney.
The movie goes on as Sweet reveals that another squad member Sergeant Bishop was taken prisoner in Abu Sayyaf’s base inside a series of caves back where their mission had initiated. Sweet using the radio lets Kinney contact Grimm and they schedule three bombings to hit the bases each every 15 minutes.
As Kinney and Sweet raid one of Sayyaf’s bases, they are taken as prisoners. On the other hand, Sweet gets executed right as the first bomb falls and Kinney gets taken to be tortured. However when bombs hit, miraculously Kinney survives since he has been dunked in the water tub while his captors die.
Kinney runs out to kill the surviving leader while he takes his satellite phone and calls Nellis Air Force base to tell Grimm to call off the third Bombing Before the battery depletes. Which in turn finally ends the brutal 48 hours of battle for survival.
