Every file names its makers

Each subtitle carries credits: who translated, who synced, who corrected, which team. Credits show on the title page, in the download, in the API, and on the maker's page. Files brought in from other sites keep their original uploader's username and id as a contributor identity, credited as "{username} on {site}".

Claim what is yours

Find your old username on a contributor page and press This is me. For sites that still exist you place a short code on your profile there; for sites that are gone you describe how a moderator can tell it is you. The claim stays open seven days so anyone can dispute it, then a moderator decides. Approved, the identity is yours: its files, its counters, its page, and new uploads under the same name.

A credit is missing or wrong

Write through contact with the file's address and the credit line as it should read. Credit fixes are handled before anything else in the queue.

Removing your own file

From your panel, any time, no reason needed. The address answers 410 from then on, the counts update, and the credit history stays in the log. A moderator removes a file only for a broken rule.

What the site asks of contributors

By uploading, you allow the site to store, show and hand out the file, free, to anyone, with your credit on it, and you promise to keep the earlier credits on anything you resync or correct. That is the whole deal.
