Rules

Short, because there are few. The one that matters most: keep the translator's credit.

What to upload

Subtitles you made, translated, synced, corrected or collected. Movies, TV series, anime, documentaries. Any language.

Credit

  • Always keep the translator's credit. A file whose credit was stripped or replaced is removed and the uploader is warned. A second time, the account is suspended.
  • Credit everyone who worked on a file: translator, syncer, corrector, team. The upload form has a field for each, and the pipeline keeps the credit lines already inside a file.
  • A resync or a correction is a new contribution. It adds your credit and keeps the earlier ones.

Honesty

  • Label machine translations. They are shown apart from human work, never mixed. An unlabelled machine translation is removed.
  • Say which release a file fits. A wrong label wastes everyone's evening.

Not here

  • No advertising inside files beyond one credit line at the start or end naming the translator or team. Watermarks repeated through a file are removed.
  • No links to streams, torrents or video downloads, in files, notes or comments. The site does not host video and does not point at it.
  • Be decent in comments. Moderators hide first and discuss second.

Removal

Your own file: from your panel, any time, no questions. Anyone else's: only a moderator, for a rule above, and the uploader is told why. See Credits.
